The Truth About Getting UNSTUCK as a Woman Over 40 (No One Talks About This)

Hey Gurl…HEY!!

The Truth About Getting Unstuck

Let’s talk. Not the polished, smile-for-the-camera  — selfie-time because the sun is hitting me just right kind of talk; but the kind where you kick off your shoes, exhale all that pretending and saying,  ‘I’m good – I’m fine – I’m okay’ kind of talk, and let’s get real and honest.

‘Cause if you’re anything like I was, you’ve hit a wall. Maybe not a loud crash, but that quiet, slow, “How the hell did I get here?” kind of stuck.
And nobody’s talking about this part.
Not your girlfriends, not your Facebook feed, and not those “boss babe” posts telling you to hustle your way to freedom. Why are we still hustlin’ and grindin’ anyway?

Gurl, first comes the fog; right?

Before you can get free, you’ve got to get clear.

Clarity is the cure for stuck.
Not motivation. Not a 10-day detox. Not a new budget tracker.

Clarity.
About who you are now, not just who you were 20 years ago. Not who you thought you were. Not who someone you loved told you were.

Let me ask you something:

  • Do you even recognize yourself these days?
  • Are you living by design or just going through the motions?
  • Are you still wearing the labels they gave you — “You doin too much,” “You waited too late,” “Now you’re too tired”?

I see you. I was you.

Where Are You now?

This ain’t about shame — it’s about honesty.

We can’t fix what we won’t face.
And too many women are spiritually stuck, emotionally bankrupt, and physically exhausted — because they’re showing up for everybody but themselves.

So pause. It’s your life. Take a beat. Say No. Get still and stay still longer.
Take inventory. Ask yourself:

  • Where am I really — emotionally, physically, financially, spiritually?
  • What patterns have I been repeating?
  • Am I making decisions from fear… or faith?

And here’s the hardest one:
Who helped get me here… and how have I helped them do it?

Whew. That part stings. But it’s where your power lives.

Gurl, Take Responsibility — Not Blame. Not Judgement, but ease – grace, kindness, and love.

Listen — this isn’t about dragging yourself through the mud.

This is about taking the keys back.

See, when you take responsibility for your now, you unlock the next.

That means:

  • Owning your choices (even the ones made from survival)
  • Holding yourself with grace and truth
  • Releasing the need to be rescued

You are not waiting on a breakthrough.
You are the breakthrough.

How Do You Move from Here to There?

Simple answer?
You don’t do it alone.

Let me tell you something — God handles the how.
Your job is to get still enough to hear the next right step.
You don’t have to map the whole road, just take the next faithful move.

For me? It started with a question:

“Who am I without the noise?”

For you, it might be:

  • Setting boundaries
  • Saying YES to you and NO to them
  • Starting a walk around the block
  • Opening a journal and writing your own HER-Story

You don’t have to overhaul your whole life overnight.
You just need one act of clarity, one small yes to your future self.

You’re worth it. You just needed a little reminder
